After spending numerous years working with ARFID client, I am happy to annouce I am offering supervision hours in this area to help other professionals navigate this challenging and rewarding area.
With over two decades of experience as a registered dietitian and a specialized focus on pediatric feeding challenges and eating disorders, I provide supervision grounded in clinical expertise, compassionate care, and practical support. My passion lies in helping fellow dietitians build confidence and competency in treating Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) across the lifespan.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in diverse settings—from pediatric GI clinics and intensive outpatient eating disorder programs to private practice and academic instruction. I currently practice at Nourished with Kindness, an eating disorder-focused group offering virtual care to clients of all ages. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in the principles of Intuitive Eating, responsive feeding, and weight-inclusive care.
I bring a depth of experience working with complex feeding cases, including children and adolescents with co-occurring sensory processing differences, autism, anxiety, and other co-morbidities. As a former preceptor and dietetic internship coordinator, I also value supporting the growth and professional development of emerging and seasoned dietitians alike.
Whether you're new to ARFID or navigating a challenging client case, I offer a supportive space for consultation, reflection, and skill-building. Let’s work together to make ARFID treatment more accessible, compassionate, and effective.
